A Novel Trajectory Planning Method for Parafoil Airdrop System Based on Geometric Segmentation Strategy

Reasonable trajectory planning is the precondition for parafoil airdrop system to achieve autonomous accurate homing, and safe landing. To successfully realize self-homing of system, a new optimization design scheme proposed in this paper. The based on parafoil’s unique flight control characteristics adopts segmented homing design. current common method faces problem, whereby straight-line distance before landing limited by radius height-reducing area. core feature its avoidance thereby ensuring accuracy safety. Firstly, different starting states requirements were comprehensively considered, reasonably segmented. Based energy control, stable flight, accuracy, optimal objective function was established, parameters, calculation methods, constraints given. Secondly, cuckoo search algorithm applied optimize obtain final home trajectory. Finally, under conditions simulated verified. results showed that planned trajectories could reach target point accurately meet direction requirements, proving scheme’s correctness feasibility.
